The Temple of the 5 Elements is officially returning to the playa in 2023
To bring the Temple of the 5 Elements to the playa we need your support.
2022 was a challenging year for To5E and even the most veteran burners on our team learned new lessons on how the playa can undo even the best, tested plans. So we are upgrading nearly every system in 2023 for maximum uptime. New lighting, new stones, new power and data cabling, a whole new show control system, new generator and box, much more are all in progress with the goal to run every night from dusk until dawn.

Temple of The 5 Elements - is an art installation for Burning Man 2023, inspired by The Fifth Element, that will allow you to transform into the element of love.
Experience: On the playa, two or more participants will ascend to the top of a short altar to stand on an inset, clear plexiglass disk, triggering hidden pressure sensors. When activated, beams of light will shoot out from four surrounding pillars in colors representing Earth, Air, Water, and Fire onto the participants on the altar. A powerful beam of white light will illuminate them from below as they kiss or embrace, illuminating the surrounding area as they become the element of love until the lighting effect times out and fades to make space for other participants.
